Description

Smithing is everything related to the creation of metal items, usually created using metal lumps on a small anvil or large anvil.

Metal lumps and items need to be glowing hot to be smithed. You can do this in any fire, but the forge is most effective.

The following tools are needed for improving and finishing smithing items:

• Hammer
• Pelt
• Whetstone
• Water
• Metal lumps

Sub-Skills

• Blacksmithing - Used such as nails or pots and pans.
• Weapon smithing - Used in the creation of weapons such as swords and axes used in fighting.
• Armour smithing - Used in the creation of armour for added protection against attacks.
• Locksmithing - Used in the creation of locks and lockpicks
• Metallurgy - Used in the creation of alloys like steel, bronze and brass
• Jewelry smithing - Used to make jewelry.
