Description

Metal chain armour protecting your torso.

Chain armour generally provides a middle ground base defense with moderate penalties to speed. The wearer will walk moderately slower and have a moderately slower attack speed. Chain armor offers a defense bonus vs stabbing damage, while the equipment itself receives extra damage from stabbing.

Method

Use 2.42 kg of armour chains on a large anvil

Result

• Chain jacket - 2.20 kg
• Iron scrap - 0.22 kg

Note, with a 50QL large anvil you need at least 19 chain armor smithing to get an option to create a chain jacket. This is because you must have at least 6% chance of making something in order for it to appear in the list. The chance depends on the anvil, metal and your skill.
