When falling down from high places, flattening while standing on the corners of tiles, or fighting the various fauna and inhabitants of Wurm, you may get hurt. These wounds will pop up under the affected body part in your player's inventory window under the expanded Body tab.
Wounds vary widely in seriousness. Also see: Healing
