Gems are precious stones which sometimes appears on the ground when mining in caves. They can either be sold to a trader for varying amounts of money or used by priests to vessel the favor of the gods, saving it for later use. Gems always weigh 0.50 kg. They never decay, but vesseling can make them lose quality until they disappear.

The Black/Star gems are rare versions of their respective "common" counterparts.

All the "common" gems are equally rare and at equal qualities worth the same/stores the same amount of favor.

All the "rare" gems are equally rare and at equal qualities worth the same/stores the same amount of favor. Their value and ability to store favor is double that of the common ones though.
