Freedom Isles (2010 - 2012)

"生活是一场斗争" - Roman

Roman (Started c. 2010) is a player originally hailing from the Grand Steppe in North East Independence, he was the deed owner of Mongolia (Not to be confused with Mongols on epic) and had also resided in Frontier, the former prison of the Troll King and the largest deed on Freedom. By late 2011 and early 2012, as the new servers were opening; wanderlust had driven Roman to travel across all of the Freedom Isles in search of adventure.

During his travels, he gained a reputation for hunting and attended many unique slayings.

Over time, several unfortunate incidents had become a bane and despair of justice upon Roman and changed his opinion of some groups of Freedom Players and ex-wild veterans. Traveling along the path of duty and righteousness, he has since taken up arms and fights for the Empire of Mol-Rehan.

Empire of Mol Rehan (January 2013 - Current)

On January 5th 2013, Roman officially entered into the service of Kratos, a fortress settlement within the Empire of Mol-Rehan. He was involved in the sacking of Thorin's Gate as well other countless border incidents, skirmishes and raids against Jenn-Kellon.

January 6th 2013 - Sacking of Thorin's Gate

Thorin's Gate is a deed located east of the HOTA area, its walls were demolished and the settlement sacked by a medium sized group of MR fighters.

As the MR raiders were sailing away, its mayor Tosti logged in. The MR raiders immediately turned their boats around and engaged Tosti. Unfortunately, Tosti retreated into a panic room after a brief fight lasting only a few seconds.

January 12th 2013 - The 12/01 Sea Raid

The January 12th Sea Raid was a raid conducted by a large MR raiding group from 1 Knarr in North East chaos, deep in JK territory.

It concluded with the death of several JK citizens and fighters while MR suffered no casualties of their own.

JK casualties included: Lockehalfblood, Flamell, Darknessll, and Platon

January 29th 2013 - Border Skirmish at Sparta

During the eve of January 29th 2013, Emoo and Kharm had built a house and mine up against the perimeter of the double JK deeds of Sparta & Trollmound in Eastern Chaos. The objective was to lure Sparta's citizens into a fight while a supporting contingent of MR fighters from Kratos waited nearby as reinforcements.

Unbeknownst to Kratos at the time, Sparta had sent out an alert to their alliance requesting support. This request for support was answered by Davy, Norad, Thornbush and Padremaronno who sailed across the bay in a knarr.

Fortunately, the supporting MR fighters had grown suspicious as to why Sparta's citizens would not leave their deed despite outnumbering Kharm and Emoo. Believing that something was amiss, The supporting MR fighters scouted ahead and became aware of the presence of JK reinforcements sailing towards Sparta.

When the JK reinforcements arrived, Strmesko sallied out of Sparta/Trollmound and together with the JK reinforcements, engaged Emoo and Kharm, meanwhile Roman and the rest of the MR reinforcements (Demondan, Red, Nikkunikku, Zivirt) came out of hiding and joined in the fray within a minute.

Lancelot joined the fight much later on as an additional MR fighter.

From JK; Norad, Padremaronno and Strmesko were killed.

MR's only casualty was Kharm who was killed by Thornbush's fire pillar.

Roman gained the Toys affinity for his kill on Strmesko

In the end, this was a minor victory for Kratos and the Empire of Mol-Rehan.

February 13th 2013 - The Southern Sea Campaign I

The campaign in the Southern Sea was a series of repeated raids against hostile deeds in the South East quarter of Chaos.

Seizing total control of the South East quarter of Chaos is vital for MR expansion and power.

Two deeds were primary targets, however a third Blacklight soon became a priority target after it appeared in close proximity to an MR Deed.

• Tomorrowland - Owned by Norad, a Jenn-Kellon player.
• Desire Rock - Located next to Tomorrowland and a supporter of Jenn-Kellon
• Dark Spawn - Owned by Darkmalice who managed to create this deed under the Horde Of The Summoned and convert a large group of freedom players to Libila, the evil goddess in Wurm.

The campaign was a total MR victory which ended in the destruction, drain and disbandment of Tomorrowland, Desire Rock and Dark Spawn. All players associated with Dark Spawn were also routed by a passing MR sea patrol following the death of their leader, Darkmalice. The surviving Dark Spawn members fled back to The Freedom Isles from whence they came as their comrades were killed off one by one.

MR suffered no casualties during any of the engagements and deed drains.

UPDATE (17/FEB/2013) - Darkmalice has been spotted on Chaos again and has been killed another two times. In light of this information, The Southern Sea campaign continues on.

February 18th 2013 - The Russian Empire

On the eve of February 18th, a small scouting team of four assembled at Kratos for a mission at The Russian Empire, a fortified deed situated adjacent to Hunting Lodge, the default Freedom Isles spawn in Chaos.

The primary objective of the mission was to scout The Russian Empire and determine the strength of the deed and its defences with a secondary objective to raid it if it were deemed possible.

The Russian Empire (although protected by a tall stone wall, 7 templars and a guard tower) proved to have extremely inadequate defences from within.

The entire deed was sacked and token drained by Roman, Demondan, Nikkunikku and Frostbite.
