Description
Cast on tools to reduce the length of time taken to complete actions with that tool.
This spell is stackable with Aura of Shared Pain, Flaming aura, Frostbrand, Rotten Touch, Circle of Cunning and Demise spells.
This spell will not stack with Nimbleness or Blessings of the dark.
The power and effect of spell is given in the bracket [x] Ranging from 0 to 99. The spell can be cast multiple times to try to improve the effect of it. Success of casting the spell depends on your channeling skill.
Effects
Wind of Ages reduces the time it takes to perform your action, up to the base timer (4 seconds for most tools). It's effectiveness depends on the type of tool. As part of skill-gain is based on the length of the action timer, skill-gain per action is reduced when using WoA enchanted equipment. However, skill-gain per time spent doing actions is identical between WoA enchanted and not.
On weapons, it marginally affects swing time based on power, with a 100 power cast reducing the swing time by 0.5 seconds, but never under 3 seconds.
Wind of Ages also increases the speed bonus provided by horse shoes and saddles.
Notes
Wind of ages has no effect on the following:
- Fishing Pole (Fishing)
- Meditation Rug (Meditation)
- Sacrificial Knife (Sacrificing)
- This spell is stackable with Aura of Shared Pain, Flaming aura, Frostbrand, Rotten Touch and Demise spells
