Description

Every player has a journal with which to track various premade goals.

Notes

  • The journal is in no way related to the separate item, the archaeology journal.
  • The journal is not craftable and cannot be lost. Every player has one from the very first moment of character creation.
  • Successful completion of journal goals results in several rewards. One known reward is an increase in the player's maximum sleep bonus capacity.
  • Sections in the journal written in green text indicate completed sections.

Journal Goals

Crafter journal

First Steps:

  1. Chop down some trees
  2. Flatten a tile
  3. Create a mallet
  4. Mine iron
  5. Create some nails
  6. Plan a house
  7. Complete a house
  8. Improve a metal tool to 15ql
  9. Ride a cow
  10. Kill a creature
  11. Plant a crop
  12. Find a route

Reward: Apprentice title and 1 hour of sleep bonus (on cluster of completion).

Finding the Path:

  1. Build a stone house wall
  2. Tame a creature
  3. Mine copper and tin
  4. Create a bronze lump
  5. Breed a creature
  6. Create a small cart
  7. Create a forge or oven
  8. Cook a breakfast
  9. Ride a horse
  10. Bandage a wound
  11. Plant a tree

Reward: Learned title and 1 hour of sleep bonus (on cluster of completion).

Gathering Stride

  1. Create a large cart
  2. Build a two storey building
  3. Create a boat
  4. Cook a meal
  5. Catch a large fish
  6. Kill a spider
  7. Improve a tool to 50QL
  8. Harvest 5 cotton
  9. Ride a bear or bull
  10. Create a healing cover
  11. Make a rare item
  12. Sleep in a bed
  13. Join a meditation path
  14. Get to focus level 3

Reward: Experienced title and 2 hours of sleep bonus (on cluster of completion).

Paved With Stone

  1. Restore an item from fragments
  2. Slay a troll
  3. Open a wild beehive without being stung
  4. Study a tree or bush
  5. Improve a weapon to 50QL
  6. Get a skill to 50
  7. Become a follower of a deity
  8. Plan a bridge
  9. Pilot a Knarr
  10. Spear a fish
  11. Make some wine
  12. Create a halter rope
  13. Get to focus level 5
  14. Taunt a creature

Reward: Skilled title and 2 hours of sleep bonus (on cluster of completion).

On the Highway

  1. Get a skill to 70
  2. Improve a tool to 70QL
  3. Slay a greenish creature
  4. Get drunk
  5. Catch a disease
  6. Reach 30 faith
  7. Reach meditation path level 4
  8. Build an underground house
  9. Obtain 15 titles
  10. Kill a creature with a catapult
  11. Build a guard tower
  12. Complete an almanac

Reward: Accomplished title. glimmersteel or adamantine lump, and 3 hours of sleep bonus (on cluster of completion).

Picking up Speed

  1. Use a rune
  2. Slay each rift creature
  3. Reach meditation path level 7
  4. Equip an enchanted weapon
  5. Discover an archaeology cache
  6. obtain 30 titles
  7. Ride a horse over 30km/h
  8. Create a wagon
  9. Harvest 50 herbs
  10. Help complete 10 missions
  11. Catch a huge fish
  12. Slay a champion creature

Reward: Proficient title, a choice of affinity, and 3 hours of sleep bonus (on cluster of completion).

The Winding Road

  1. Get a skill to 90
  2. Obtain 60 titles
  3. Ride a Unicorn
  4. Slay a legendary creature
  5. Restore a statue from fragments
  6. Cook Billy Sheep Gruff Stew
  7. Improve an armour piece to 80QL
  8. Win 10 spars
  9. Reach meditation path level 9
  10. Mine a tonne of high quality ore
  11. Create 10 Runes
  12. Get 10 skills to 50

Reward: Talented title, increased maximum sleep bonus, and 6 hours of sleep bonus (on cluster of completion).


Priest Journal

Dedication

  1. Become a priest

  3. Receive an item via prayer
  4. Reach 40 faith
  5. Store favor in a gem
  6. Link with another priest
  7. Reach 20 channeling
  8. Sacrifice a creature
  9. Listen to a sermon
  10. Spend 1K favor

Reward: Blessed title, 2h of sleep bonus (on cluster of completion)

Approbation

  1. Reach 50 channeling
  2. Cast a spell worth 50 favor
  3. Shatter an item
  4. Create an electrum statuette
  5. Recover 50 favor from a vesseled gem
  6. Hold 10 sermons
  7. Receive a gem via prayer
  8. Convert a player
  9. Fully align with your deity
  10. Reach 70 faith
  11. Sacrifice 1K items
  12. Sacrifice an item worth 40 favor

Reward: Angelic title, increased max faith gains per day and 3hr sleep bonus (on cluster of completion)

Benediction

  1. Create a gold altar
  2. Reach 90 faith
  3. Cast a global spell
  4. Sacrifice a champion creature
  5. Spend 100K favor
  6. Hold 100 sermons
  7. Reach 70 prayer
  8. Sacrifice 10K items
  9. Receive 100 gems by prayer
  10. Cast a 95 power spell

Reward: Divine title, +5 power to spell casts and 5hr sleep bonus (on cluster of completion)

Note: the goals of hold 10 sermons and hold 100 sermons only require 1 premium listener to count for the journal
