This guide is meant to replace New Player Walkthrough, and takes into account changes in game mechanics up to June 2014. Upon completion of this guide the player will have a powerful collection of tools, skills and knowledge of game mechanics. This guide should take 1 to 3 hours to complete.

Game Settings

• 64 bit Java, only if you get warning popup when starting wurm (https://www.google.com/search?q=64+bit+wurm+java)
• FPS, right click your health bar, and select "show FPS" this number should be above 30 for smooth gameplay. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7WsfxpolzQ)
• [keybinds]
• toggle size, many of the indicators on your HUD can be resized, and moved around. Find somthing that works for you.
