Tyre

Tyre was founded a week after Doughboy the --Doughboy 02:51, 3 May 2009 (CDT)mayor of Noriyah and the village members decided that they had stomached enough on JK home. We packed all the gear they could carry and made sure that they would make only one trip and left for wild. We had been on wild with some alts they made "back when basics were allowed on wild" to scout the area and we had found the perfect spot that was situated on a island that would require a lot of dirt we would have to haul from the surrounding shore lines. Once we brought our main characters to wild we started working around the clock and in one week we had a flattened 21x21 size area and we began work getting the walls put up. During this time the Black Lighters from a settle south of Tyre called the Bat Cave would harass the group every few days and would come down to check on our progress. After 2 days we had the outer walls up and started laying our defensive plans for the inner part of the deed which eledok had made in sketchup for us. After about 4 more days the inner deed was completed and secure. Then we began work on the western end of the deed that we would use for additional housing and to keep it from being used as a place to setup a catapult and attack the main deed.

To this day not a single raid has been successful nor has any other kingdom set foot on the main deed. Tyre is a island fortress that we base the concept from: The Siege of Tyre by Alexander The Great.

Tyre has since built a Homestead to the east to block boats from entering Kingslayer Bay and also another building to the west after it was dredged down which made boat access easier in to the bay.

We are actively seeking new recruits new and old. We encourage new recruits to grind what they wish to specialize in and if you do show us by staying active and wanting to provide for the village and help out, we'll provide you with whatever tools you may need or want. We don't discriminate by age, race, or gender and expect the same from all new recruits and current village members. We do require you to be on your best behavior because your actions reflect on our village. The current village members are all over 20 years old, mature, and we use vent but don't require it "having vent makes things a lot easier on us considering we hardly ever talk in chat in game and it allows us to get to know you better".

Tyre doesn't have a formal hierarchy, even though it is a dictatorship. We welcome input from all villagers but final decision will come from the Village founders.

Location

Located on the north east quadrant of wild server, Tyre is directly west of Rat Point. It is also directly east of the CrossRoads (not to be confused with the Trader's Post). Tyre is located in a bay - which, thanks to recent events, was renamed to Kingslayer's Bay. Tyre is an island.
