This is a Jenn-Kellon (white light) settlement on Golden Valley.

New Vagrant is a small community on the Golden Valley server, located west of First Light, up the peat hills, and past taboma manor, just above where 'Myth La Goon' used to be(as it no longer exists).

Background

New Vagrant is founded from the original 'Vagrant', which used to be nearly spot on in the middle of the Golden Valley server, but in Vagrant everyone became inactive and everything decayed, so Traslogan moved out of there with his possessions, then he became friends with durr. The two of them moved out in search of a better place to settle down in, they randomly wandered the map looking for their haven, and they came across 2 tranquil lakes... they set up a farm and a place to rest their heads under, then more people came along, many old friends. so Traslogan and Durr founded 'New-Vagrant'...

As time passed, friendly nomads known as 'Brongolians' came by boat to the quiet town of New Vagrant in search of new friends and trade possibilities. However the local residents did not take kindly to this and attacked. This provoked the fearsome wrath of the BRONGOLIAN HORSE ARCHERS, who proceeded to destroy the local treeline and pack all the earth in the town in preparation for occupation. The town was quickly subdued and the long arduous task of replanting a steppe in it's place began.

And New Vagrant is still making more space for more housing! so anyone who is prepared to be active and friendly is welcome. The mayor Durr is on most days, and the mayor Traslogan is on every day but wednesday, so feel free to come and join anytime.

Message to ALL VILLAGERS OF NEW VAGRANT

Due to recent griefing by the bros.(grief syndicate on wurm), we have taken extra fencing precautions to stop griefing affecting us at our very cores. The remaining water supplies in the village are the mines. Traslogan reccomends you take up accomodation in the town hall, and assist with the fence repair work to keep us from being griefed, if you do not wish to accomodate yourself in the town hall or our farms, fence your house well.

Current Projects

1. We are currently dredging our lakes and the lake out to the sea, Durr leads this operation and would gladly accept any and all help
2. (Permanent Project) We are still building housing and farm space for our villagers, so all diggers and carpenters and woodcutters are welcome to help.
3. Brolaagor Steppes - We plan to replant a steppe in place of the grass in this area, anyone with steppe seeds is welcome to help.
4. Brobi Desert - a portion of the surrounding area will be converted to desert to reflect our homelands.

Job searching

NewVagrant is searching for a full time blacksmith, capable of repairing weapons and making tools. housing and house repairs come with full membership into the village.
