Horse shoe

129 bytes removed, 03:09, 3 May 2018
After discussing with the powers that be, removing all concrete speed boost info and putting in a general explanation.
* Drag and drop a individual horseshoe to each hoof.
Note: Horseshoes MUST be cold before putting them on!

Speed Boost
If you equip a set of four horseshoes on a horse, you will get:
* 0.24km/h speed boost per shoe at QL50
* 0.48km/h speed boost per shoe at QL70
* 0.72km/h speed boost per shoe at QL90

The QL50, QL70, and QL90 speeds boosts are when the average total QL for 4 shoes reaches this threshold.

Additionally, speed is boosted further by shoe rarity:
* 0.48 km/h speed boost per rare shoe
* 0.96 km/h speed boost per supreme shoe
* 1.44 km/h speed boost per fantastic shoe

Finally, speed is boosted if you enchant the shoe with Wind of Ages or Blessings of the dark:
* 0.24km/h speed boost per shoe at enchantment power 50
* 0.48km/h speed boost per shoe at enchantment power 70
* 0.72km/h speed boost per shoe at enchantment power 90
Notes
*Horseshoes are damaged with every step the horse takes while mounted. Horseshoes are not damaged on horses being led.
*Adding 4 horse shoes to a horse increases mount speed (additive, so 4 shoes is better than 3, etc.)
*Adding Wind of Ages or Blessings of the dark increases mount speed.
*Rarity of the horse shoe increases mount speed.
*Due to how Wurm math works, it is not easy to relate how much speed boost is given by each shoe, each shoe's QL, each enchantment, each enchantment's power, and by rarity. Older references you see to specific km/h tied to QL/power are incorrect. The basics can be explained simply by saying the higher the QL, the higher the enchantment power, and the rarer the shoe, the speedier your mount will be.
