* On occasion, lag experienced during the latter part of the sparring match can cause the match to erroneously continue on to a kill. For this reason, players are best served by paying attention during the match so as to stop it should it not stop on its own due to lag or connection issues.
* Just as in regular combat, damage inflicted in sparring is real damage, to the player and their armor armour and weapons. It is therefore recommended players also be able to heal, in some fashion, after the fight so as to avoid the continued worsening of injuries which can lead to death.
