*Fuel with up to 0.20 kg of [[olive oil]] or [[tar]].
*Tar is rumored to last less time then oil.
*If the lantern is [[dye|painted]], the light from the lantern will be that colour. However, Black black dye does not seem to have any percievable effect on the colour of the light.
