==The telling of Old Guard==
In the beginning, not long after When the first wurmians disembarked in these lands BaldEagleOG came upon a vast valley of plenty not far from his settlementhere this land was wild and dangerous. Observing The few trained fighters there was had their hands full looking after new town and keeping the great strategic potential he quickly moved his camp to the outer rim of the valley and as soon as he had scraped together a small fortune he bought a small deed citizens there safe from the kings trader various beasts lurking in New Townthe woods. While this was going on Bald's friend Beowulf did the same in the innermost part The tales from those who left and came back told of the valley. They agreed to share the bounty of the valley, and riches hardly imaginable to support and help each other until those who lived their dying breathmonotonous lives in New Town. The two spend many safety of selling spindles and pottery bowls to Jake every night came with a cold night by the campfire dreaming, and even more warm days in the lush forests hunting and foragingprice... With the historic incidents with Jenn-Kellon and Mol-Rehan they agreed on each building an army to defend Jenn-Kellon against Mol-Rehan if there that price was ever to come to that again. They swore in blood adventure and went their separate waysexcitement.
It didn't take long before BaldEagleOG was up at arms with his promise decided he to BeoWulfdeserved better than carving spindles. He had no idea where or how to build an armystarted systematically exploring his surroundings looking for a more fitting camp site. He called upon his old friends soon decided that it was impossible to help him outnavigate the thick forrest, and they did. He worked them so hard one after another fell sick and could not work another day. All wanted he started looking for a way up to see the army rise, but none top of Big Mountain. He knew that from up there he would spend their life be able to see it happen. In the end the only person Bald could trust was the Riddlemaster. A young apprentice with scout vast areas and find a huge heartbrilliant spot for his next homestead, but unable only to carry out all Balds tasks on his own. Bald find it was desperate to have help, and Riddlemaster hopeless since the mountain was desperate to have someone to share Balds nagging commands with. They were desperate not to let Beowulfs blood-oath downsurrounded by vertical cliffs all around.
Eventually it came to - One day I ran into a black wolf in the point where Bald forrest. I was asking random people passing by the village for help. Once his mind out of water and pretty damn tired, so i was made up a stone fell off his shoulders. He waited patiently. Normally lucky he would fend off anyone nearing the valley to protect its resources. Before long a commoner was passing by outside the palisadesup wind from me. He explained I started manouvering around him, but I soon realized he had just arrived me trapped in Newtown a few days ago with some friends, small valley. Having nowhere else to turn i decided to get as far away as possible and was now hope for him to walk the other way. While looking for a suitable place to settlerest up I stumbled on to a path that looked like it was in regular use. Bald and Riddlemaster both recognized this divine luck - by Vynora! They knew this It was faithno animal trail, and let the stranger in. Two days later 3 Norwegians settled in outside the palisades. And before long they brought but people out here didn't necesarily mean friends. Word traveled the land of the newfound prosperity in the valleySince i was low on food and water, and Bald's old gang had little of friends started any value with me, except from my life I decided to show up in take my chances. Just a few minutes down the valleytrail i noticed it was ascending slightly, and with up ahead i could see the newfound fortune of trail raising above the Norwegians BaldEagle started once again to build an army. This time at a slower pacetreetops that was surrounding me. Taking his time to consult and cooperate with his companions. This time he could not fail - by VynoraThat blessed wolf!
A overview This was the first visit Bald ever made to Donner's Pass. Here he met Beowulf who had his settlement already set up halfway up to the top of Big Mountain. He led Bald to a viewpoint and Bald discovered that the forrest ha had tediously scouted for the past two days was all part of a huge valley. The size! The potential! BaldEagle and Beowulf gained each others trust, and soon enough they agreed it was a good idea for Bald to settle in the valley will . They would be added soonclose enough in a time of crisis, yet have room to do their own things. An alliance was slowly forming. In time they both recruited help from travelers who had left New Time in boredom. They each built a separate camp - Donner's Pass and OldGuard. In time the abition grew, and the manpower with it. Camps became villages and the valley was sealed of to stop any scavengers from exploting the land. While the adventure moves forth the dream of prosparity has come to pass. Life in the Valley is plentifull, though demanding...
