With an ideal range of 20 tiles(80m when looking through a spyglass), the long bow has the furthest range of hand-held weapons in game. Longbows at a long range can give very nasty wounds with a good enough bow. With a 60ql longbow and 25-30ql arrows, one shot to an unarmoured person will land a 100 damage severe approx. This weapon is best made out of [[willow]].
