Yeah, holding it in a container in inventory is the only way to keep it fresh. Tried with different other containers, useless. Decays in about 24 hours. ~[[User:Sporhund|Sporhund]] 00.30, 13th April 2006 (GMT +1 DST)
There were changes to maple syrup decay rate and it can be stored for a long time now - no problems whatsoever to keep it in a barrel in a house off-deed until grape season is around, even lasts to the next one. --[[User:Wollschaf|Wollschaf]] 17:31, 4 March 2009 (CST)
