The cart doesn't speed up downhill, but it doesn't slow down uphill either.
Terrain doesn't affect cart speed.
At steep slopes (20?) the cart might not move. You have to '''move forward and double-strafe''' (hold your walk left and your walk right keys), to get up that hill but it's very slow.
