can train every weapon, not only swords
An item with which you can raise your fighting skill. To fight it, you must have an item in your right hand, preferably a [[shaft]] so that you won't damage the doll too much. The lower the quality of the shaft, the less damage you will cause, therefore the practice doll will last longer.
You can raise your fighting skill to a maximum of 20 using a doll and up to 20 in any sword weapon subskill. To gain more skill points after that you must fight in real combat.
You can also practice with a bow equipped, this will train archery, fighting, and the type of bow at the same time. But it's much slower for archery than an [[archery target]], and it damages the doll more than a shaft.
