QL of the maple syrup affects success chance.
On success, when using .36kg of grape juice and 1kg of syrup, 1.3kg of wine is produced, and only 0.6kg 06kg of the juice is used. As long as you have at least 0.36kg of grape juice for each 1kg of syrup, the exact amount does not seem to matter. Only 0.06kg of juice is consumed per kg of syrup, regardless of success or failure.
