Bless

Page claimed blessed lamps had to be fueled and lit before being blessed, not sure if that's how they were in the past, but this is no longer the case as per my testing today.

===Description===All Godsgods give priests the spell Bless at 30 Faithfaith. Currently Bless is only mainly used on Altars. Rolf's comment from IRC on 6/29/2007 regarding bless: "bless does nothing to items as it is now except altarsconvert a blank metal altar to the faith of the casting priest." This is contrary currently the only way to create an altar within the longstanding belief that it had other uses. It does, however, improve channeling skill from use and can be cast on a variety domain of items. It costs 10 favor to castanother faith.
You will == Method ==# Activate a statuette of your god# Right-click an item or person. # Select Spells> 'not'Bless shatter up the item if you fail to cast this spell.
== Notes ==* Priests can gain 1 point of Alignmentalignment by casting Bless on players.* Bless cannot shatter an item upon failure when casting.* Lamps planted on a paved tile may be Blessed and will light at night without refueling, provided that the lamp was fueled and lit, but will still take decay damage.* Tower Guard or Lampsplaced on the highway may be Blessed and will light at night without refueling, provided that the lamp was fueled and lit, and will not take damage. This function is similar to the way lamps work on deeded land.* Blessing a player with lower favor than the priest will grant a tiny amount of favor for the priest.===Method===# Activate your * If a GodsLibila priest casts Bless on a grazing animal item, it will become "corrupted" and right-click eat mycelium instead of grass. This can be reversed if the animal is then blessed by a White Light priest. You can see if an item or personanimal has been corrupted by examining it. Select Spells/** A creature corrupted in this way will no longer be able to be tamed by a Lightpriest or follower, until the corruption is removed.
