Hens are found in the wilderness. You do not need to [[Taming|tame]] one before you can lead one, with a [[rope]]. After they eat 2 items [[seed]]s they will lay 1 [[egg]] every 3 hours. [[Egg]]s can be used for [[cooking]] or eating. You could also just let them reach 100 damage also so a [[chicken]] would hatch. Only keep one egg per tile or hatching probably fails. Hens will follow [[rooster]]s. [[chickenChicken]]s will also follow Henshens.
