The [[dredge]]'s main ability is to dig from below water level. The maximum depth you can dredge may be determined by Dredge quality (as well as possibly also your [[digging]] skill. Dredge quality is also known to ) affect the maximum depthyou can dredge. To dredge deeper than 7 dirts below water level, which is a [[shovel]]'s limit, you need to be on a [[ship|boat or ship]]. You cannot dredge at a depth greater than 180 dirt below sea level.
