Would it be a good idea to put screenshots on this page showing off the differences between the graphics settings? Example below. --Manny 10:36, 6 July 2007 (CDT)
- Water reflection
- Choose from None, "Sky only", "Sky and terrain", "Sky, terrain, and trees", "Almost everything". Have set to NONE unless you have a semi-old card (FX5600 or better at least) and a good CPU (AMD athlon 2000+, 2GHZ P4). It has a great effect on performance, turning it on will use a lot, but with a good comp it only gives a small drop in performance and it does make the water look nice.

Wouldn't it be better if the images of the same setting (i.e Terrain Resolution low/med/high) are on the same page? Easier to see changes that way. Smaller pictures, next to each other or such. - Steffe
- I don't think so. Smaller images would make it harder to see the difference. Could crop the images instead of resizing, but then it doesn't give the full experience. - Dashiva 14:16, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
- True, just thought it would be easier with the pictures on the same page, the way it is now you have to flip between tabs/windows to check the differences. Then again not everyone run high resolutions, and such a layout wouldn't be good for them. - Steffe 22:15 7 July 2007 GMT+2
- I could put them in as clickable thumbnails, but the page would get very unfriendly for people with low bandwidth. That's about 60 images on one page. Manny 16:00, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
- Was more thinking of one set of pictures of one of the settings on each page. For instance "Terrain Resolution" gets one page with each of the settings example images (low/medium/high). "Water reflection" gets another page etc. But it's up to you, either way the players at least gets a way to see the differences. -Steffe 23:17 7 July GMT+2

State of the page
This is getting really outdated. If someone updates it and creates new screenshots, I can provide guidance on what the specific settings do, but I don't have time to do the full review on my own. - Dashiva 07:34, 26 November 2008 (CST)
