** old method: drop at least 4 other items ([[wood scraps]] are good for this) so that a [[pile of items]] is created, open the new pile and then drop the dirt into it. After dropping the dirt, take the wood scraps (or item you used) out. The same thing works for [[heap of sand]].
*Dirt is used in the creation of [[charcoal pile]]s.
*Dirt can now also be discarded by right-clicking it and choosing Discard.
