== Description ==
Bare soil, created by [[Digging|digging]] and flattening. If there are adjacent [[Grass Tile|grass tiles]] , it will quickly be over grown overgrown with grass, within 24 hours of real lifetime.
Seeds can be sown in Dirt tiles to start [[Farming|farming]]. Trees can also be [[Gardening|planted]] using [[Sprout|sprouts]]. [[Digging]] it with a [[Shovel|shovel]] gets you a [[Pile of dirt]], used to raise soil somewhere else. It can also be turned into a [[Packed Dirt Tile|packed dirt tile]] using a [[Shovel|shovel]] for paving or to prevent [[Grass Tile|grass]] from growing over it.
