Ian's first home was his friends Ronn and Phil's size 5 homestead, Nefarius. A month later, Ronn sold [[Nefarius]] to [[Player:Dipse|Dipse]], who subsequently disbanded it.
Ian, [[Ronn]], [[Phil]], and [[Nikolai]] then moved approximately one kilometer north of [[Kyara]] to found the size 5 village of [[Hollowvale]], with Ronn as the mayor. Mid-december 2007, [[Hollowvale]] was disbanded.
He then moved to the size 15 village of [[Rivendell]]. Once there, he helped dig defensive trenches for several days before being admitted as a citizen. He quickly made friends within [[Rivendell]] and now serves the other villagers as a digger, carpenter, chainsmith, blacksmith, fighter, medic, and occasionally as a miner.
