The Village of Small Bears is a village on Independence, part of the Freedom Isles, situated in the southern half of the Island. It has been founded by Guru Bear, the original founder of the Village of the Small Bears, a settlement on the now abandoned Jenn Kellon home land.
'''The Village of Small Bears''' is a size 10 [[Jenn-Kellon]] [[Settlement|village]] Village with pretensions to grandeur. It is to be found on the [[Server Types#Home server details|Home Server]] due east of [[Newtown]], over the hill and down to the lake. It is part of a larger community of Villages, Homesteads, and non-deeded farms and cottages gathered round the western end of the lake, that are loosely referred to as The Bears of Wurm.
