* The lantern requires 0.02 kg of [[dye]].
* If the lantern is [[dye|painted]], the light from it will be that color. Black dye has no effect on the light though.
* A [[Temperature|hot]] or hotter lantern will provide illumination, even when not filled with tar or oil.
