A shaft made out of wood. Shafts are mainly used in the creation of [[carpentry]] and [[smithing]] items. A shaft can be used as a weapon when the player has not yet created one with [[smithing]] but it is not advisable, it is, however, excellent at training the fighting skill. When creating a shaft, the quality of the [[carving knife]] determines the success rate of the shaft
