*Sharks are very powerful swimmers and can easily catch up to players in rowboats and alike. For adventuring out into the ocean its extremely advised you sail in a [[Cog]], or better.
*Sharks only seem to appear whenever a new server is opened, and do not spawn randomly.
*Note that these there are three types of sharks should not be confused with . These (creatures), the sharks that ones you catch through fishing, and the server border sharks (which occur when you attempt to cross the border where there is no other server on the other side, resulting in instant death).
