To start riding an animal it either needs to be [[Animal taming|tamed]], lead with a [[rope]], [[dominate|dominated]] or rebirthed. Then simply right-click the animal and select '''ride'''. To unmount click anywhere and select '''disembark'''. You also need to have enough [[body control]] to ride on creatures (see below).
Mounts are turned with the 'a' and 'd' keys (unless you have remapped them). The mount must be can turn sharply when not moving forward or backward in order to and will turnwith a larger radius when moving forward or backward.
Not all animals can be mounted, may it due to their physical appearance or age (too young or too old). In that case you will get the message that the animal is too weak.
