*The maximum QL that can be gathered from wild reed tiles is 20. (As of July 18,2012)
Scythe and sickle are the proper tools to harvest. Everything else will give 20 QL only (will go live with the next patch)
Reed tiles occur naturally underwater and spread like [[grass tile|grass tiles]].
[[Reed plants]] can be gathered from them using a [[sickle]], and they or [[scythe]]. Other sharp tools work too but limit the reed to 20 QL. Reed tiles can also be [[botanizing|botanized]]..
If you dig on a reed tile, you create a [[dirt tile]]. All the reed tiles surrounding the digged corner will also turn into dirt tiles.
*Sowing [[reed seeds]] underwater creates reed [[field]]s instead of reed tiles.
*Gathering reed gives [[gardening]] skill.
