Due to the way mycelium grows, consuming tiles in a checkerboard pattern provides optimal regrowth.
Mycelium also restores the food bar and nutrition value of followers of Libila over time while they're standing on it. The increase is approximately the same as the normal decrease from hunger. Note that this effect stops when the food bar is full, and this halts the nutrition gain.
A follower of Libila with high enough faith gets a reduced stamina drain while travelling traveling on mycelium tiles. This is believed to happen at 30 faith.
