My testing seems to indicate they do not give chase. Anyone else find likewise? - Jekev

They are rather slow so once you get away a good bit they won't follow you. But they will keep getting after you if you can't get away quick enough. Even into water --Ago 19:44, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

They not only chase, but have a long aggro range once they start chasing. This combined with the difficulty in spotting them can make them very annoying. However, deed guards will attack them - at least mine did, on Desert (Mol-Rehan). - Delsten
