Hey man. I notice you're doing the rounds for ingame info. However, keep in mind that we already have separate pages for the ingame help. So between Awl and Item:Awl, adding the info twice to the former gives quite a lot of repetition. Would you mind elaborating a bit on what your plans are? - Dashiva 10:47, 18 April 2008 (CDT)

Sure. I was adding a simple text materials lists for each item per Eirs request on the forums. If I should be adding this info to Item:<item> page instead of <Item> page please clarify and I will adjust my plans.

Also, maybe you can answer this for me. I noticed that I can't add images to pages that are missing them. It looks as if there are 2 groups that can. How do I go about submitting images to be added to the pages?

You have to be added to the uploaduser group to upload images. Easiest way is usually to talk to Egal (she's on IRC all the time) and tell her about wanting to upload images. There's no real requirement to join the group, it just keeps people from uploading random stuff without forethought.

For the items, I think it would be good to plan ahead a bit. Improving the Item:x pages is an obvious thing, since they're the ones you see ingame. Adding overall costs for composite items like carts and beds is also something we could use. But regular item materials is already in the template, so instead of adding a second copy (with the total), it's worth considering whether we should change the template instead. Having the same information twice easily leads to one of the copies becoming outdated, so we should always make sure the benefits are worth the risk. - Dashiva 17:12, 19 April 2008 (CDT)
