191219 Patch Notes 19/DEC/2019
- New: Large Planters for item based farming above ground and in caves.
- 70 carpentry skill is required to create a large planter.
- Uses on deed farming permissions.
- Only one planter per tile.
- Cannot be picked up or moved, only transported or turned. Planter is locked to the tile it resides on, to move it to a new tile transport it.
- You cannot load a planter with a crop in it.
- You can only plant things in the planter when the planter is on the ground.
- Mushrooms can be planted below or above ground in the large planters.
- You cannot plant Rice or Reeds.
- You cannot harvest if the crop is not ripe.
- Crops can be tended every 24 hours.
- Planter name will be appended with (Untended) when it is time to tend the planter.
- Growth stage will also be appended (numerical < 5), with (Ripe) being appended when they are ready to be harvested (5th stage).
- There will be no tending on or after the ripe stage.
- Tending will add 1 to the yield, with a minimum of 5 and max of 9 (absolute max farming skill / 10) if you tend each stage.
- Quality is your skill in farming.
- It takes a crop 5 days to become ripe.
- If the crop is not harvested within 24 hours of becoming ripe there is a 50:50 chance the crops will wilt on each re-occurring day.
- You can cultivate a large planter back to dirt if it has something planted in it, using a shovel or a rake.
- You can only build a planter on the ground.
- You cannot sow, tend, nor harvest a planter that is below water.
- New: Sail furling and unfurling and other ship mechanics changes.
- Instead of just going forward and back, you now have several sailing modes: reverse, stop, no sail, half sail, full sail. (This does not apply to rowing boats which have no sails.)
- Furling and unfurling sails is done by tapping the forward and back keys.
- Mooring anchor can now be inside the boat hold and you can just right-click the boat to moor. On raising the anchor, it checks if there’s room in ship’s inventory – if there is, then it puts the anchor there instead of player inventory.
- You can see the anchor model on the ship when it’s moored as well as see the different position of the sails as they are changed.
- A sail state graphic has been added below the health/stamina bar for the commander to see the current sail mode.
- Change: A merchant will now insist that you collect items and coin from their inventory before they agree to being dismissed.
- Change: The number of pages a book will now hold is based on it’s quality, similar to the archaeology journal. (See below)
- Book quality 1 – 22 will hold 22 pages.
- Book quality 23 or greater will hold the number of pages equal to it’s quality.
- Change: Paper, papyrus and reports will no longer decay inside books.
- Bugfix: Puppeteer grammar fixes.
- Bugfix: Fixed an issue with deed disbanding email not being sent.
- Bugfix: Fixed a journal bug which triggered for Receive a gem through praying when the item was something other than a gem.
- Bugfix: Fixed the place for some large items which had place in the context menu but failed to work with the keybind.
- Bugfix: Fixed a bug with getting teleported out of a cave when stuck in a cave wall

- Bugfix: Fixed v-sync not working in Fullscreen Windowed

191129 Patch Notes 29/NOV/2019
Server Changes
- New: You can remove a Jackal skin from a weapon with a metal brush.
- Note: This will destroy the Jackal skin
- Change: Rifts will no longer spawn traps.
- Bugfix: You can no longer drag no drop items from the mailbox into a container – you can only drag into basic inventory.
- Bugfix: Fixed an issue which caused salted and non salted liquids to cause mixing issues with recipes.
- Bugfix: Uniques will now bash clad walls.

191107 Patch Notes 7/NOV/2019
- Change: Renamed “Tie off” to “Hitch” on hitching posts.
- Bugfix: Fixed being able to rename not owned items.
- Bugfix: Hitching posts will now use permissions for the Open option.
- Bugfix: Fixed excessive rarity shine on armor.
- Bugfix: Fixed dyed armor looking incorrect.
- Bugfix: Fixed incorrect hair color.
- Bugfix: Face skin tone should no longer differ from the body.
191104 Patch Notes 4/NOV/2019
- New: Emails will be sent to deed mayors when upkeep falls below 30 days and again when it falls below 7 days.
- Change: Decorative items in containers and placed on other items should no longer decay.
- Due to the situation with Xanadu not receiving the 5 hours sleep bonus after the rollback, we will be providing all servers with 10 hours sleep bonus during the regular restart on the 14th of November.
- Bugfix: Fixed a bug where some items made before the signature update didn’t actually show the signatures when over 20 quality.
- Bugfix: The volume of measuring jugs can be adjusted while the jug is in inventory or in an inventory subgroup. It cannot be adjusted if the jug is inside a container.
- Bugfix: Hitching posts can now be placed and turned when not planted.
- Bugfix: Fixed an issue where relatively new traders failed to have merchant and trader contracts in their inventory for sale.
- Bugfix: Fixed the issue with some decorations and light sources not getting heating to glowing in a fire source.
191031 Patch Notes 31/OCT/2019
- Jackal change: Jackal skill transfer has been tweaked and re-enabled.
- Jackal change: Premium time and login:
- Jackal requires premium time in order to transfer to the server.
- If you lose premium time while on Jackal, you can pay for more time in the shop and then log in again.
- Plan ahead to be sure you have enough premium time if you wish to continue playing on Jackal and wish to pay with in game silver.
- If your premium happens to run out unexpectedly and you wish you pay with silver, you now will be able to log into Jackal and will have 2 minutes to pay for premium in game. If premium is not paid for within that time, you will automatically be transferred back to the server you were on prior to going to Jackal.

- Quality of life changes and fixes:
- Enchanted Grass can now be cultivated.
- Lawn and mycelium lawn can now be be cultivated.
- Decorative pillars can now be transported so they can be hauled up/down.
- You can now attach mine doors to wide cave entrances (PVE only).
- Enchanted trees/bushes, will no longer age.
- Creatures getting branded will now remain stationary during the action.
- Trash Heaps are now transportable, they can also be hauled up/down.
- You can now plan a building with a trowel.
- Large Oil Barrel can now be planted/secured.
- Ballistae can now be planted/secured.
- Slabs made of rock shards will now be called stone slabs.
- Hitching posts have now been added:
- Any creature that can be hitched to a large cart can be hitched to a hitching post.
- Hell Horses can be “Tied Off” to a hitching post at any age that is not a foal.
- A hitching post can hold 3 creatures.
- Creatures can eat from the trough of a hitching post, as long as there is food in it, that they are normally able to eat.
- Untamed Hell Horses hitched to a hitching post are docile and will not attack anything as long as they have food in there trough.
- A creature will eat from a trough at the same rate as they would normally graze / eat from pile.
- A hitching post cannot be picked up it can only be transported.
- Hitching posts are lockable and spawn with a 1ql lock on creation.
- You cannot load or move a hitching post with creatures hitched to it.
- Hitching posts have 2 main permissions, Manage and Use.
- A person with use perms can unhitch any horse by either right clicking the horse and clicking unhitch (singular), or right clicking the hitching post and clicking Animals > Unhitch (All of 'em).
- Only creature edible items can be placed into a trough (seed, meat, veg, fish and so on).
- Bugfix: Fixed an issue where archaeological journals inside equipped backpacks were not found and updated when investigating.
- Bugfix: Fixed a few incorrect fragment icons which displayed completed item icons.
- Bugfix: Fixed a rare issue where archaeology caches wouldn’t be visible until you moved away from the tile then returned.
Client Update
- Change: Introduced HDR rendering to fix oversaturation and improve visuals.
- Lights overlapping will no longer so easily oversaturate into a white blob.
- Winter visuals will now appear much more toned.
- Light range has increased with this change. Make sure to re-configure your deed's lighting setup.
- Change: Shadow rendering has been revamped for more detail and distance.
- New: Added Ambient Occlusion option to the post-process settings.
- This adds shadows in geometry creases and increases the visual fidelity
- There's Disabled, Medium and High settings - High should be left only to the best performing configurations, and is just a slight improvement over Medium
- This is turned on by default. If you experience worse performance after this update, try switching it to disabled.
- Bugfix: Rain occlusion (no rain indoors) will now work on Mac.
- Bugfix: Fixed animations of 2h weapons and bows.
191017 Patch Notes 17/OCT/2019
- Bugfix: Rift resources will now decay slower.
- Resources for Jackal beacons and Rift Scouts will have their damage removed.
- If resources are missing the beacon will respawn them.
- Bugfix: To avoid confusion the Rift and Jackal points purchase option will no longer be available on Jackal.
191011 Patch Notes 11/OCT/2019
- Change: Corpses can no longer be placed inside of a mailbox, even if runed.
- Bugfix: Fixed some grammar and spelling issues.
- Jackal: Skill transfer to Freedom enabled.
- Skill gained on Jackal will partially transfer to Freedom.
190926 Patch Notes 26/SEP/2019
- Bugfix: Windowed mode should no longer be resizable.
- Bugfix: Fixed arrow keys showing as NULL in context menus.
- Bugfix: The deed exporter will now output to deed.map file in the Wurm’s main directory on Linux and Mac.
- Bugfix: Fixed animal worn items (saddles, bardings) being affected by color and condition.
- Bugfix: Numlock will now affect the keypad keys (using arrows instead).
- Bugfix: Rift beasts will now move properly into melee range.
- Bugfix: Summoned creatures will now properly despawn if the summoned is killed. Burning hearts with any rift creatures tied to it will have the creatures move to the person burning.
- Spyglasses can now be crafted on Jackal only.
- Fixed certain tools not triggering the improvement journal goal.
- Bugfix: Addressed some issues with phantasm being cast on multiple creatures.

190913 Patch Notes 13/SEP/2019
Jackal Point shop
- The Jackal point shop will now be open.
- Every week a new weapon skin will be unlocked.
- Tokens are no drop, but can be traded between players.
- Once applied to the weapon the token will disappear and the weapon will keep that skin until another skin token is applied to it.
- Skinned items will have an examine message indicating it is skinned.
Jackal Bugfixes and Changes
- The difficulty of gathering rift materials on Jackal has been reduced.
- No wasted attempts on gathering failure on Jackal.
- Destroying Jackal beacons will now give more information about the server progression
- Bugfix: Epic kingdoms will now be correct when returning to Epic after Jackal
- Epic portals will not work from Jackal
- All travel to and from Jackal must go via Freedom.
General Changes
- Bugfix: Warmasters will now correctly lose invulnerability after all turrets destroyed
- Bugfix: Armour damage values from rift creatures have been reduced
- Bugfix: Jackal creatures will no longer appear in Freedom missions
- All existing Jackal creatures spawned from missions on Freedom will be removed with this update

- Jackal Change: Trade chat will now be split between Jackal and other Freedom servers

- The skillgain modifier for the Jackal skillgain system has been increased from 3x to 4x.
- Please bear in mind this is not the same skillgain system as Freedom OR Wurm Unlimited. This is a system based off the Epic skillgain system and will behave differently.
- Bugfix: Rift creatures will now properly target and fight
- Bugfix: Fixed issue with transferring from Epic to Freedom to Jackal and back causing you to lose your Epic kingdom.

Patch Notes : Jackal Awaits! Announcing the Jackal Server
- Jackal is a new time limited server lasting six months that players can transfer to from every other server.
- Accessing the Jackal server will require the player to be premium.
To initially access Jackal, rifts will spawn at server opening with specific scheduled start times listed below
- Independence 6PM Fri UTC

- Pristine 2AM Sat UTC

- Jackal is a hostile alien server with a vastly different aesthetic to the lands of Freedom.
- Pine, orange and lemon tree types have been removed from Jackal.
- Six new tree types have been added.
- Jackal has the Epic hybrid skillgain system with 3x skill and 3x action speed.
- Skill gained on Jackal will transfer to Freedom at a reduced rate
- Disabled for the first few weeks to ensure when it is enabled it works smoothly
- When enabled will apply to any skill gained from the beginning of jackal
- A new Jackal journal tier has been added
- Certain tasks within the standard journal tiers have been disabled from triggering while on Jackal.
- Completing certain tasks on Jackal will reward the player with Jackal points, redeemable for new item skins on Freedom.

- Corruption can be cleared by creating freedom beacons and destroying Jackal beacons.
- Jackal beacons are defended by increasingly difficult groups of creatures, which will all need to be defeated before their hearts can be burned at the beacons in order to destroy them
- Destroying jackal beacons will make it easier for freedom beacons to radiate their influence in the area
- Following a god and becoming a priest will be available from freedom beacons
- The prayer faith gain limit has been doubled from 5 to 10 per 24 hours uptime on Jackal only.
- Rift changes
- New point calculation system
- New point buy system
- Defeating rift creatures and closing rifts will now reward players with Rift Points.
- Rift points are now used to purchase specific items instead of RNG loot as before.
- Accessible from lodestones and mailboxes when you have points to redeem
- Updated Rift Creature AI
- Each rift creature now has attacks and special mechanics depending on their type
- New sounds for all Jackal creatures
- Tweaked combat stats of Jackal creatures
- Rifts now spawn in 4 waves that ramp up slower
- Rift scouts
- Small groups of Rift creatures will spawn across the server.
- These creatures will provide a small challenge and reward the players with rift resource collection nodes and some rift points when defeated.
- Changes to creature spawns
- We will be trialing a new creature spawn table on two Freedom servers, Deliverance and Pristine. Players may see some new creatures previously only known on PvP servers.
- Miscellaneous Changes
- Change: Guard towers on elevation now take 2x damage, the warning message to kingdom has been lowered to 50 damage to account for this.
- Change: Players on elevation can now lead 2 horses while walking only.
Client Changes
- Bugfix: Fixed ‘FBO not bound’ launch crash
- Bugfix; Fixed certain quickbind key names not showing
- Bugfix: Fixed select bar selection updating when moving the camera instead of clicking
190801 Patch Notes 1/AUG/2019
- New: 100 Jewelry Smithing title added.
- New: 100 Fine Carpentry title added.
- Bugfix: Artifacts will now drop on the tile on player death.
- Bugfix: Players in lost link status will no longer count for sermon listeners.
- Bugfix: Players in lost link status while in combat will now leave the world after 10 minutes of combat on Freedom, and 1 hour of combat on Epic.
- Bugfix: All gods can now cast disintegrate in PvP.
- Bugfix: Kingdom influence when bashing towers will update correctly now.
- Bugfix: Battle camps now spawn every 27 hours to allow better timezone coverage, this effects all servers.
- Bugfix: Same kingdom Village War Declaration now works on all pvp servers.
- Bugfix: Fixed Elevation only karma cooldowns leaking over to chaos.
- Bugfix: Can no longer user Random Teleport in combat.
- Elevation Change: You may now only lead 1 creature.
- Elevation Change: You may no longer lead additional creatures when you are fighting on Elevation.
- Elevation Bugfix: Actually fix carry weight
- Elevation Change: Truestrike now casts a 95 power truehit on the user with a 10 minute cooldown.
- Elevation Bugfix: Corrected issue where tunnels could not be opened at exactly 60 slope.
190716 Patch Notes 16/JUL/19
- Bugfix: Demigod followers and priests will now be able to correctly receive template god power level for global spells and cast global spells.
- Elevation bugfix: Corrected movement speed being affected by body strength soft cap.
- Elevation bugfix: Meditation level will now correctly cross from Elevation to a home server.
- Elevation bugfix: Corrected issue causing players to have items falsely identified as old items.
190711 Patch Notes 11/JUL/19 Elevation Revamp
Following discussion and a poll today we launch the new Elevation with a new map and many adjusted mechanics. These features only apply to Elevation with home servers keeping the usual mechanics. The Epic cluster will go down at approximately 9pm GMT for a quick restart with the following features enabled:
- Elevation now has a new map with new starter deeds:
- New Hope – Jenn-Kellon – North East.
- Ignis – Mol-Rehan – North West.
- Doomspine – Horde of the Summoned – South West.
- Maximum digging slope has been reduced to 150 .
- Maximum surface mining / tunneling slope has been reduced to 60.
- There now needs to be a minimum of 3 tiles between mine doors.
- A deed will disband automatically after five chained deed drains.
- Meditation abilities over level 9 have been disabled.
- Hate Damage Bonus Now Increases lockpicking chance.
- Element Immunity now only lasts 5 minutes down from 30.
- Characteristics and Fighting related skills receive less combat bonus in the higher levels(scaling).
- Removed rare bonus from boats(No replacement for now).
- Rare horse gear now takes less damage instead of granting a speed bonus.
- Horses give birth faster.
- Fresh Item Pool, cannot cross items from home server to elevation and back.
- This is enforced with a player lockout if old items are found trying to be equipped or used. In order to resolve this a GM will be needed to remove them.
- Border crossing will be disabled, travel only available via portal.
- Trader contracts will not be purchasable and traders cannot be placed.
- Traders will only sell Res Stones/Large Magic Chests/Sleep Powder/Shaker Orbs and can only be found in your starter town.
- While item ban is in effect cross server mail is not available.
- Increased cooldowns on Truestrike, Stoneskin and Continuum
- Physical damage resistance and penalty effects from sorcery items changed to fall damage.
- Karma home teleport has been disabled.
- No new champions, current champions will be dechamped without the stat loss and will be given 70 faith.
- Hell horses and Unicorns cannot be hitched or ridden.
- For the first month moon metal from magic chests are removed, and a hota win offers slightly less than normal.
- The chest drop table has also been edited to include flint and steels and compasses.
As usual encountering any bugs or errors is best handled by reporting via the server bugs forum if not sensitive or ticket ingame if sensitive. Abuse of any of these mechanics or bugs can and will lead to harsh penalties.
190709 Patch Notes 9/JUL/19
- Epic has been taken down for the full revamp and reset of the Elevation map.
- The home servers will reopen in the next few hours with Elevation being down until the 11th of July.
- New: You can now set lockable bulk containers with permissions to not allow items to be placed in them below a specified quality level. Notes below:
- Specified quality level is dictated in Integer of the ql of the attached lock (a 99.99ql small padlock would lock the container ql to 99).
- Quality lock is effective meaning that a 100.0ql corn with 25 damage is equivalent to 75.0ql.
Only locked bulk containers can have the quality locked.
- The quality lock option is located under the right click “permissions” when there is a lock attached.
- To disable the feature just go back permissions and click “Disable Quality Lock”.
- Removing the lock will also disable the feature. Note: You will need to re-enable the feature when re-attaching the lock, if you wish to continue using the system.
- Bulk Container Unit shelves can each be locked separately, as well as each having there own perms, so as to allow each shelf to have their own Quality Lock.
- Containers must be empty in order enable the quality lock.
- Removing / replacing the lock will disable the quality lock.
- Removing / replacing, disabling / enabling the quality lock will be saved to the items permissions history.
- New: Added tile transmutation on all pvp servers with restrictions. Notes below:
- PvP servers use more liquid to transmutate tile.
- There needs to be 3 diggable tiles, excluding rock, between each transmutatable tile (CLAY, TAR, PEAT, MARSH).
- Bugfix: Fixed an issue with the tutorial which resulted in an error in some random cases.
- Bugfix: You can no longer rune liquids.
190630 Hotfix 30/JUN/19
- Bugfix: Fixed an issue with meditation path not sticking when using the change path option on the meditation rug.
- Bugfix: You can no longer cast mirror self on yourself, you can only cast on a tile instead.
- Bugfix: Vynora can now switch tile types by using a heap of sand or pile of dirt.
- Bugfix: Wagoners shouldn’t drop their deliveries before reaching their destination.
190627 Patch Notes 27/JUN/19 Legendary Tweaks
- Change: Changes have been made to Legendary creatures regarding spawning and locating as listed below:
- Removed from pendulum locates..
- Removed from Reveal Creatures casts.
- Removed from Get Info from Path of Knowledge.
- There is no longer a preferred type of region for specific unique spawning.
- Removed Server and Twitter notifications of Legendary Creatures spawning.
- Legendary Creatures will path back to their spawn when over 30 tiles away if they have no target to attack and will not spawn within 30 tiles of a deed.
- Tweaks and additions to Valrei mob AI
- Nogump and drakespirit AI added.
- Fixed pathing and targetting issues.
- New: You can now grow woad in pottery planters.
- New: Dyeable cloth barding has been added. See notes below:
- Dyeable cloth barding has been added.
- Standard cloth barding has had its creation recipe changed.
- It now is created with a needle and cloth square, and finished with 1 woad and 1 cochineal.
- The dyeable cloth barding has two colour values – one for the barding and one for the pattern.
- Dye pattern dyes the pattern only and uses LYE to remove that dyed section.
- Paint colours the whole barding (except for the pattern) and uses a metal brush to remove.
- Bugfix: Added a check to prevent a journal completion reward to be executed again.
- Bugfix: Removed Stasis spell message from bank management popup question.
- Bugfix: Lunchboxes will once again be tin instead of lead.

- Fights with fish shouldn’t last 15+ minutes of back and forth pulling when low on strength compared to the fish you’re catching. Weighted them slightly so the fish pull away at 75% of what the player pulls in, so should be weighted towards being caught more than a flat 50/50 battle for eternity.
- Net fishing gets an extra skill tick on catching to bring the gain back in line with old fishing (slightly), and gives use to CoC on a net.
- Change: Combat AI Improvements for Deathcrawler, Eagle Spirit & Sol Demon.
- Deathcrawler, Sol Demon and Eagle Spirit have some new moves that they will do in combat.
- Slightly tweaked their butcherable table to make a bit more sense.
- Previous Uttacha changes will now work on all servers, along with these changes.
- Freedom servers still won’t have these creatures spawning naturally, however there will be some GM run events in the near future for people to try the changes out.
- Feedback on the style of combat these changes entail is appreciated.
- PVP Change: Show battle camp hota camps in village info.
- Bugfix: 20+ fighting skill is no longer required to repair guard towers on PvE servers.
- Bugfix: Fixed a bug which caused siege machines to play animation even if the firing was unsuccessful.

190502 Patch Notes 2/MAY/19
- Change: Raw, foraged and low quality food will now fill the food bar more based on weight eaten.
- Players with the newbie food buff will receive an even bigger bonus.
- Journal Bugfix: Destroy 25 veins via mining has been fixed to include those veins which become depleted instead of destroyed (as when you mine out an ore at a cave entrance and it turns to rock instead of being destroyed.)

- Journal Bugfix: Old creature skill achievements will be added to the journal for a better baseline for older accounts. Info below:
- Upon first login after this update, the server will check all old creature slaying achievements and total their count. If the count is higher than the amount required to trigger the journal goal it will set it to that new value. This will not be an exact count of creatures slain as some creatures do not have their own individual achievement for tracking kills, but this will provide a better baseline for older accounts.

Fishing Changes:
- Using no float (or using net or spear for fishing) has had it’s difficulty lowered from +20 to +10.
- Fishing specifics relying on the time of day now work properly.
- Fixed fishing skillgain ticks capping because of the length of time an action can actually take.
New HotA System added:
- Battle Camp HotA
- This system does not replace the existing HotA, but will run in tandem with it
- Battle Camps now spawn every 25 hours at random locations on the map.
- These camps will not spawn in a village, under water, or on extreme slopes (mountains).
- Lurker in the dark will now reveal the direction of 1 nearby battlecamp along with it’s normal 1 nearby enemy player (Distance based on cast power/pendulum)
- New Battle Camps start neutral, and can be conquered by using an action on it which takes 5 minutes. If a camp is claimed by an enemy kingdom, it must first be neutralized, which takes 5 minutes as well.
- When four Battle Camps are conquered by a single kingdom, a HotA statue reward is created at the most recently conquered Battle Camp. All four camps that were controlled by the kingdom are removed from the map. Any neutral camps, or camps controlled by other kingdoms, remain in play.
- Battle Camps have a loot option that lets the owning kingdom loot a lump of moon metal every 24 hours from it with a 5 minute timer to claim it.
- When a new Battle Camp is created, all other active camps on the server will take 10 damage. When a camp reaches 100 damage, it is removed from play.
- When a Battle Camp is created, it forms a 40×40 zone around it.
- Players cannot terraform inside the zone unless they conquer it. When conquered, terraforming slopes are limited to 40 steep.
- Players cannot create or continue fences inside the zone unless they conquer it and only within the first 5 tiles around the camp. When conquered, locked fences in this 5 tile area will not unlock for enemies when an allied player passes through.
- Players cannot place mine doors in a Battle Camp zone.
- Players cannot place deeds or extend deeds into the Battle Camp zone.
- Players cannot construct or expand buildings into a Battle Camp zone.
- When the zone is removed all fences in the zone will be deleted regardless of it they were made before or after the zone.
- Bugfix: Various text and grammar issues.
- Bugfix: Fixed the rarity check while cleaning a furnace to properly reset for each ash.
- Bugfix: Fixed journal entries that were at 100% but not properly shown as completed.
- Bugfix: When creating items, If both pieces can transfer their enchants/runes, only take them from the active item and not the target item.

190314 Patch Notes 14/MAR/19
- New: You are now able to light furnaces if you are lacking a steel and flint with a kindling and a hot burnable item, both of which will be consumed.
- If you happened to throw away or lose your steel and flint, you can now use hot burning items (wooden tools, wooden scraps, logs, cotton, cloth) along with a kindling to light a forge or oven.
- Note that the item must be ‘burning’ and will be consumed when lighting the furnace.
- Reminder: You can create a campfire using just a wood scrap and a kindling in order to get your burning wood or cloth items hot enough to light the furnace.
- New: Added title for 100 pickaxe.
- Priest Change: Rite of Death is now able to be cast on Freedom servers but is a laundered version of the PvP ritual spell.
- Rite of Death on Freedom servers will not create mycelium and will not cause head wounds, but will give the sleep bonus and skill bonus.
- Priest Change: Updated the warning when using /transfer for the one time deity change to emphasize the WL/BL and pvp kingdom issues.
- Warning: Converting to a deity on Freedom then travelling to a Chaos kingdom that does not align with your deity you will lose all faith and abilities granted, and you will stop following that deity. Libila does not align with WL kingdoms and Fo/Vynora/Magranon do not align with BL kingdoms.
- Journal Change: A percentage indicator was added to some Journal entries which have multiple things required.
- Journal Change: Casting a global spell achievement is now awarded to the caster as well as those linked to the caster.
- Bugfix: Reworded the mouseover for Chop Down Some Trees journal entry to make it more clear that the action must result in a felled tree.

- Extended downtime due to moving the Independence server from it’s interim hardware back to its original hardware. We expect this downtime to last approximately 1-2 hours.
- A number of back end changes have been made to reduce lag spikes that occur every few hours. We will continue to monitor lag on every server and address ongoing spikes and general issues.

- Bugfix: Examine info for small and large nails has been changed to metal instead of iron since nails can be other metals now.

- The journal now has the main tutorial and a fishing tutorial which you can use at any time.

- Change: Fireheart – Reduced spell damage against non-player targets slightly. This reduction is more significant against less armoured targets (like cats and wolves), but has minimal effect on tougher creatures (like trolls).

Fishing changes:
- Added lore action to rod/pole on boat, and rod/pole/spear/net on tile. Gives a little information on what might be found in areas.
- Damage to fishing tools is not as drastic as it was for larger fish.
- Increase rarity bonus on pulling-in failures (less likely to snap rare+ line etc).
- Destroy fish if tools are broken to prevent floating ghost fish.
- Max time for initial fish to appear has been lowered.
- Fish will nibble a bit longer before swimming off.
- New Fishing tutorial has been added to your journal.
- Fishing Bugfix: Fixed a few incorrect or confusing fishing messages.
- Fishing Bugfix: Buoy examine will now show both lamp and barrel dye colours.
