Historical talk:Gulasch
For someone new to cooking this page is very uninformative. Or someone like me who doesn't know, and doesn't really want to know, much about cooking, but needs to make gulasch, it's very frustrating.
"Excluding grain and water ..., any combination of grain, ... and small amounts of water creates gulasch." is self- contradictory. Given the tiny amounts of water you can use in proportion to the rest, why would anyone actually bother to add water?
"somewhat nutritious" is extremely vague, but it's a vagueness that seems to be shared across cooking. Some ideas of what sort of nutrition level I could achieve for what qualities of casserole/gulasch/meal would be very helpful. For example, I get 62% nutrition from 28 QL meals. What can I expect from my 48QL gulasch?
It could use some actual recipes as examples, as all the examples included are for things that won't make gulasch. Some idea of skill range would be helpful, as higher than casserole, less than meals doesn't help if you don't know what the levels of those are.
