Method

1. Equip the plank and right click the shaft, and select Create/Decoration/Chair.
2. Equip the plank and right click the unfinished chair, and select Continue. Repeat once more.
3. Equip the shaft and right click the unfinished chair, and select Continue. Repeat once more.

Improvements

1. Equip a log from your inventory.
2. Right click on the chair and select Improve

Used as decoration. Can still be picked up after completion
