Hatchet works. Tried using a large axe, didn't work. Probably not going to work with other axes either, but doesn't hurt to try. - Dashiva 17:54, 2 May 2008 (CDT)
In the description it talks about the keel being destroyed on a failed creation attemp, and although it is related to a keel section, this only happens when making a ship. A failed creation attempt on the keel section just results in wood scraps 1 @ 30, and 1 @ 60. Stika 1 22:37, 20 August 2008 (CDT)
