Description
A drake hide cap with ear flaps and a strap.
Drake hide is the best leatherworking based armour existing in Wurm. Its protection is greater then that of chains, providing more glance and dodge rate, as well as increased damage reduction. A full set of drake (not including the helmet) will allow you to run at 15.8 kmh on flat cobble stone. With a steel great helm your speed is decreased to about 14kmh.
Note
Drake hide parts are improved with regular leather once created. Cannot be studded. The item created will have the same colour properties than the original Drake hide's.
Higher needle quality will increase your chance of success when creating.
The drake hide cap is rarely used sense it lacks facial protection. This means while wearing a drake hide cap, being hit in the eye will completely evade armor, leaving you with a very nasty wound.
