Description

This is the by-product from creating planks, shafts and other similar basic wooden items. Failures to create said items will result in wood scrap too. Wood scrap quality is 10% of the quality of the original item. Cutting down a very young or shriveled fruit tree yields a wood scrap up to the woodcutting skill quality.

Notes

• Kindlings can be created from wood scrap with an axe, saw or carving knife.
• Wood scrap is commonly used to fuel fires, as it is often in abundance.
• Decays quickly, so is preferably stored in bulk storage bins.
• Wood scrap can also be used to wrap gifts.
• Wood scraps sometimes have a warm temprature rating after creation, so you may get the message "The wood scrap is to hot" if you try to bulk store it to soon.

Tips

For convenience it is recommended to combine up to 20 kg wood scraps before using them as fuel. This saves several right-click->"burn" actions.
