Description

Scrap wood, only useful for feeding fires with.

Wood scrap is the by-product from creating planks, shafts and other similar wooden items. Failures to create said items will result in wood scrap too. Wood scrap quality is 10% of the quality of the original item. Cutting down a very young or shriveled fruit tree also yields a wood scrap, up to the woodcutting skill quality.

Uses

• Wood scrap is commonly used to fuel fires, as it is often in abundance.
• Kindlings can be created from wood scrap with an axe, saw or carving knife.
• You can build a decorative low woven fence using 10 wood scraps of 1.5 kg.
• Wood scrap can also be used to wrap a gift box.

Notes

• Decays quickly, so is preferably stored in bulk storage bins.
• For convenience it is recommended to combine up to 20 kg wood scraps before using them as fuel. This saves several right-click->'Burn' actions.
