Stone wall

Description
A small stone wall. Better for defensive purposes than the wooden fence, yet still weaker than tall stone wall. Small stone walls are a good way to get your masonry skill up, and are relatively easy for even a new player to build, requiring no iron or other resources to create.
Stone walls can be improved or repaired with rock shards.
Skill required
To calculate the maximum slope you can build on, based on your masonry skill, use the following formula (submitted by ketza):
Max slope = (3 * √skill) + 10
Note: The solution is rounded down.
Skill | Maximum Slope | Skill | Maximum Slope | Skill | Maximum Slope | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 13 | 16 | 22 | 49 | 31 | ||
2 | 14 | 19 | 23 | 54 | 32 | ||
3 | 15 | 22 | 24 | 59 | 33 | ||
4 | 16 | 25 | 25 | 64 | 34 | ||
6 | 17 | 29 | 26 | 70 | 35 | ||
8 | 18 | 33 | 27 | 76 | 36 | ||
9 | 19 | 36 | 28 | 81 | 37 | ||
12 | 20 | 41 | 29 | 88 | 38 | ||
14 | 21 | 45 | 30 | 94 | 39 |
Clarification of Notes on Finished Wall Quality
This is for stone houses: The wall starts at 1QL. Each action including creating the wall adds (Mortar QL + Brick QL)/21 to the wall. The completed wall therefore has a quality of up to 1QL + 20 * (Mortar QL + Brick QL)/21. Depending on your masonry skill and quality of the tools you may get less on each action.
It's probably similar for stone walls: When you start the stone wall you will get up to 1QL + shard QL / 10. Each additonal shard adds up to shard QL / 10.
The whole process is still influenced by the skill. If you have high skill you will likely end up with max QL. If your skill is lower than the materials you'll likely get reduced quality.
