The Whispering Wood is the oldest deed on Deliverance, having been founded within the first 15 minutes of that server's second, successful opening day.

It is situated on the north coast of Deliverance, between Bear Lake and the ocean, immediately to the west of the Insanity Hills Outpost canal. A cave canal runs under the deed, connecting the lake, ocean, and deed.

The Wood is a regular sized homestead deed, but with a very large Perimeter open to the public for hunting and logging. It is extensively used for these purposes by locals and travellers alike.

A Public Trader, Merchant and Mailbox are all located near the front gate of the deed.

The Whispering Wood is home to Whispering Keep, possibly both the largest and tallest all-stone structure on Deliverance, at nine floors and a 7x8 footprint. From the crossroads at the deed's front gate, a single tile road runs directly north under Whispering Keep, down to the sea and out to see along a large public stone wharf.
