*Items made out of cedar wood decay slower. Containers made out of cedar do not reduce the decay of it's contents any more then a normal container would.
*Pottery reduces decay by about x1.5, depending on the quality.
*Backpacks reportedly have a slight reduction on decay of items in them..
*Stacking a container inside another container does NOT help. Neither do containers in the inventory.
*Houses reduce item decay
