Result A '''corpse''' is the result of killing [[NPC]]s ([[animals]], NPCs, other players, [[tower guard]]s, etc), and other [[player]]s. A corpse is used for (and left after) [[butchering]].Burying [[Bury]]ing a corpse gives a small amount of [[digging]] skill.

Corpses [[decay ]] fast. Once it is decayed, the items [[item]]s on the corpse will end up in a [[pile of items]].[[Guest accounts account]]s do not get corpses when after dying.

If you are a [[whitelighter]], type <tt>/releasecorpse </tt> to allow other whitelighters to [[loot ]] your corpse. Blacklighters [[Blacklighter]]s can loot any corpse.
