Cooking in a forge is not recommended because there is a larger chance of burning your food. For cooking it would be better to use a [[stone oven]].
== Tips ==
The Quality level of your Forge is a factor in how quickly ores will become lumps, and also how quickly most items will reach glowing status. Try to get the QL to at least 30, and most ores such as [[Iron Ore]] should smelt within 20 minutes or less.
