A '''lava''' [[tile]] comes from lava eruptions, which are extremely rare events and happen only on [[rock tile]]s. Lava flows downhill, and its path can be changed by [[digging|terraforming]] in front of it.
* Lava is the most dangerous tile in [[Wurm]]. It has the potential to [[Death|kill]] in seconds if stood on it. Stay away or expect [[damage]]and potential loss of items and [[corpse]]s!
* [[Animals]] will avoid walking over lava, but they can be led onto a lava tile--but will not receive any damage. This can be used to an advantage if a player is being chased by an aggressive animal.
* [[Lava fiend]]s and [[lava spider]]s spawn on lava tiles.
