Steppe tiles are thought to be good for hunting. This might be because [[tree]]s do not block your view and steppe is known to be one of the sources of regional [[animal]] spawns, most notably wild [[horse]]s, but also [[cow]]s and other farm animals.
You can [[botanize]] but you can not [[forage]] on steppe tilesuntil level 23.
