==Description==Putting an item in an altar and right-clicking the [[altar]] will give the option to "sacrifice". Items can be sacrificed in an [[altar]] of representing the [[gods|god]] you are followingand has several beneficial effects that depend on what you sacrifice and how much. Sacrificing an item will remove it from the world so apart from sacrificing in order to gain any of the beneficial effects it's used in order to get rid of junk.
Depending on how pleased your god is with the sacrifice, extra Requirements:* Follower of a [[favorgods|god]], healing, more [[alignment]] or [[potion]]s may be granted you.with at least 10 faith

If your Favor is already full you will start increasing Deed Faith bonus instead. Sometimes the key is processed before the lock and the server rejects the key. Sacrificing again will finally sacrifice the key.for details
==Effects= Favor ===Sacrificing As mentioned previously sacrificing items or coins worth 1 ironmay yield a number of various effects, 1 copper, 1 silver or 1 gold will each generate favor gain being one of them. The amount of favor you gain from sacrificing an item depends on what their value is. Items typically have a different message displaying how pleased "get price" that you can see when right-clicking them in your god is inventory. That number along with you. Sacrificing 1 silver will also gain you 10 the item type and its QL can be used to determine how much favor, and sacrificing 1 gold it will heal all yield when sacrificed. You can sacrifice items for ==== Double favor too. The gained favor is determined by the item type and it's [[QL]] with formula ''factor'' * (QL/10)². The ''factor'' varies by item type and is listed on the [[Base Price]] page for a selection of items.  The gained favor can also be calculated as [[Get price]] in silver / 20. This means you'll get 1 favor for every 5c sacrificed. If the items value is high enough you will occasionally receive [[potion]]s from sacrificing too. This usually happens when one would gain more favor than the characters faith permits. == Double sacrificing items ==
Some items have a [[religion]] specific double [[favor]] gain. That means that if you sacrifice your specific double favor item you'll get twice as much favor as the item is worth. For example: If a Vynora priest sacrifices a door lock it gets x amount of favor but if a Magranon priest sacrifices the same door lock it gets 2x the amount.

The lock must therefore be sacrificed before the key is (sometimes you can sacrifice them at the same time because the lock is registered by the server before the key is).* To be able to sacrifice an item it must fit in the altar. If you are sacrificing to get rid of the item you can try using a [[waterTrash heap|trash heap]] and .* Sacrificing creatures for a mission is done with a [[foodSacrificial knife|sacrificial knife]] close to the altar belonging to your deity. You do not have to put the dead animal inside the altar.* Sacrificing 10 items one at a time will give the same amount of favor as sacrificing all 10 at once.
